Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy defines what is and isn’t allowed on Cricvo Limited hosting and related services. The goal is simple: keep the platform safe, stable, and lawful.

Prohibited content and activity

  • Illegal content or services, including fraud, phishing, or scams.
  • Malware, spyware, botnets, or distributing harmful code.
  • Unauthorized access attempts, hacking tools, or exploit hosting.
  • Copyright infringement (pirated software, warez, cracked tools).
  • Content we reasonably consider threatening or unlawfully abusive.

Spam and bulk messaging

  • No unsolicited bulk email (spam), purchased lists, or abusive mailing practices.
  • “Safe lists” and questionable opt-in systems may be treated as spam if abused.
  • Accounts sending spam may be suspended immediately.

Resource abuse

  • No activities that degrade shared server performance for others.
  • No unattended background daemons or long-running processes not intended for shared hosting.
  • No IRC bots, IRC bouncers, or software that interfaces with IRC networks.
  • No game servers or real-time applications that require continuous CPU-intensive processes.

Security and network integrity

  • You must keep your applications updated and credentials secure.
  • If your site is compromised, we may isolate/suspend it to protect the platform.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate services for violations of this policy, for security risk, or for legal compliance. Serious violations may be acted on without notice.
